1. Students are not to be in computer labs unattended.
2. Notify teacher if computer has been left on or otherwise improperly shut down.
3. Use only teacher assigned applications, which relate to class activities. This includes the use of the Internet and any flash style games.
4. Notify teacher of abnormal computer occurrences or events or misuse.
5. Never tamper or remove any hardware, including mouse and keyboard cables.
6. Never eat, drink, or horseplay near keyboard or work area.
7. Log out and shut down properly…never just “turn it off”. Leave computer in good working order.
8. Do not touch screen with hand or any object.
9. Do not tamper with a computer that is on or being used by another person.
10. Observe class rules and guidelines unique to any classroom where computers are used. When the teacher is talking, demonstrating or instructing, students need to pay close attention.
